Sleeping in, getting up early.

Strolling in the rain, floating on a lake.

Hugging family members arriving for dinner, watching friends smile and days of laughter.

Reading by a cozy fire or curled up on the couch with someone you care for.

Listening to the gentle lap of water hitting the side of your boat, watching as your fishing line makes ripples in the water.

Splashing everyone on the dock as you rush by on a jet ski, resting in the hammock watching the sun setting on the day.

Seeing fluffy wide snow flakes falling gently to the ground, looking in awe as they fill the branches in the trees. Looking at the ice glisten in the sun, smelling the bread baking while chatting with friends.

Feeling the water harden and rush by so fast, leaning and turning as your ski glides over, tugging on the rope while laffing so hard.

Seeing a child smile and giggle with joy.

  1. I absolutely love this post.. Sundays has always been my day, to just kick back relax and enjoy the small things in which life offers us..

  2. Sundays are sanity days.. the time of the week when you restore calmness.. and get ready for dastardly Mondays
