And all the media will be glued to it.. watching for flubs, mistakes and embarrassments…
Already they are in the news, the past ones.. they wait to see what they can catch this time.
Instead of picking apart, what is mostly amateurs attempts to entertain those that are visiting their country or watching it on some sort of media, why not just enjoy it? go awwww, or wow, or that was great?
China was criticized for the fire works display, it was partially computer generated. They claimed it was for safety. Perhaps it was, but even so, did everyone not enjoy what they watched?
or the singer that lip-synched the song because the true singer wasn’t “cute” enough.. gawds.. that was bad. but at least we heard her voice. It is too bad she was visually replaced though, all children are beautiful.
The torch that didn’t rise from the floor for our winter Olympics.. omg.. it didn’t work… but in the closing ceremonies we made great fun of it. *smiles proudly*
George Bush made the wrong comments during the opening, he didn’t stick to the script… oh darn
And then he was criticized for standing with the athletes instead of being in an “official box”. now.. that I think was a good thing, showing pride and support for his countries team. standing among the athletes proudly. *nods* I liked that.
or the Torch Bearer at the Sydney Olympics… lights the ring of fire… and nothing happened for a bit… stop the games we need to reboot the computers. *rolls my eyes* we just got to watch her smile for a bit longer.
and now we will judge London, roll our eyes when a 7 year old trips, or the flock of sheep makes too much noise…
Get ready London, the world is watching…
*hugs you all*
