The Missy Award is presented to those bloggers who support
and advocate for animals either in the blog as a whole or a blog post.
They can be animal lovers, vegetarian, vegan, rescue workers,
doesn’t matter it’s all about the animals.
Thank you to ramblingsfromamum (Mumsy) for, as she worded it
Bestowing on me The Missy Award.

3-And answer two questions.

- Why do you love animals?
4-Nominate other worthy bloggers or just simply accept the award and do #’s 1-3
What motivates me to write? hmmm I talk too much? I have a lot to say? I have no easy answer to that, sorry.
Why do I love animals? Oh and I do. All animals, even those pesky squirrels and chipmunks but psssst don’t tell them they are enough trouble, lol.
Other than the love a dog can give in the obvious sense, there is so much more to them.
“There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy
licking your face.”
Dogs can detect and protect. The first video is about a dog trained to help with epileptic seizure detection.
This next video deals with dogs trained to help their best friends with autism. 🙂
There are a host of things dogs are being trained for in aid to mental health, dogs trained to help their best friends with bipolar, depression, PTSD, Panic Disorders, and many more difficulties.
Dogs and their “best friends” release brain chemicals in each other as well, the “feel good chemicals” There is quite a bit to this and perhaps a future post.
And now the drum roll… bloggers that have a best friend, their puppies I will would like to bestow this award too. 🙂

and now a poem that always makes me cry.
“He is your friend, your partner,
your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love,
He will be yours,
faithful and true,
to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”
