I now pronounce you…. a member of the 21st century

Welcome to the 21st Century United States, where intellect and not archaic beliefs rule,

where equality and human rights are deemed to be important.

Where People have rights, not restrictions.

Welcome!

“No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were. As some of the petitioners in these cases demonstrate, marriage embodies a love that may endure even past death. It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage. Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.

The judgment of the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit is Reversed.

It is so ordered”

Congratulations to the people of the United States!

The world is changing, we are maturing, we are becoming more respectful.

It isn’t about politics
it isn’t about taxes
it isn’t about procreation
it isn’t about religion
it isn’t about you

it is about love
unrestricted.

it is not gay marriage
it is not same sex marriage
it is not homosexual marriage
it is not lesbian marriage
it is marriage
it is love
unrestricted.

    • It really is quite simple isn’t it?

How is the new house? Are you tired of cardboard brown yet?

      • It is simple and beautiful.
There are smatterings of cardboard brown and my books are hidden in it. We have to build shelves.
I like my new space. I miss a proper back yard though. I miss grass. We don’t have grass. No water, so no lawn. Sigh. I miss the birds and my trees. Oh oh I did see a humming bird the other day and I was so excited. New possibilities – yay!

  4. I am glad. Love wins.
