We have a new planet. Well sort of.
They sort of discovered a new planet to replace the one we sent back a long time ago. This one is bigger so they are going to keep it. I thought size didn’t matter?
No one has seen the new planet yet, but they have lots of pretty circles showing where it is, sort of. I mean they think it is there.Oh yes, the new planet, if it is there… is planet nine, sort of because it is ninth. So no real name yet.
I hereby claim planet nine. Henceforth it shall be known as Ambersville.
Tada.
sorry I am back yet?

That’s what’s so great about science – it’s so noncommittal. They speak in hypotheses that have to be tried and tried again indefinitely before they become something so concrete as “law.” It makes big announcements like this come across as milquetoast. (“I think I just cured cancer, but I can’t be sure. Maybe I didn’t. Here are three factors that might have screwed up the whole experiment. You know what, just let me get back to you on this 20 years from now.”)
Well at least they found my planet. Well sort of. 🙂
Oh yes you are back.. and i’m loving it. I still have not got over the fact that other ‘very tiny’ planet was sent away because someone decided it was far too small to be among the heavy hitter planets.. rant you say.. rant it is. I grew up with said planet and I will always have a soft spot for that little one. Now.. planet nine is large.. apparently size does matter *grins evilly* and large is here to stay. I”m not inclined to be attached to that one yet although I think Ambersville sounds lovely.. why not? they seem to change the status of planet nine whenever they feel like it.. gah!
I think we should bring tiny back. We have room, I mean look at all the space out there in …uhm space.
Um, space is pretty spacious isn’t it? I’m with you.. Tiny people er, I mean planets can co- exist quite peacefully in our galaxy ..
Yes, Amber is right out of Greek/Roman mythology, but I forget which Goddess. You’ll have to remind me. Start a petiton, I will sign!
Of love. 🙂
Of course! Silly me. Keep on sharing the love!
It looks like an interesting orbit too. I like your planet, Amber. 🙂
I think it should be purple. We don’t have enough purple planets.
I agree! Purple is a good color 🙂
